How long does eTA processing take?

Most applicants get their eTA approval (via an email) within 72 hours.

However, some requests can take several days to process if you're asked to submit supporting documents.

What does eTA approval mean?

An Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) is an electronically stored authority equivalent to a visa, which is linked to a passport number.

If your passport has changed, you will need to apply for a new ETA. The ETA allows eligible passport holders to visit Australia for tourism or business visitor activity.

Do I need to print my K-ETA?

If you receive 'Approval for Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA),' you do not need to print or bring the 'Approval for Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA)' and 'e-Arrival Card' with you when entering Korea.
